We are little blinking sensors moving through impossibly complex overlapping worlds we can barely comprehend. I believe in light amidst this chaos.
I respond to each layer of paint uniquely. This is a way that I record the recursive nature of my experience. Whether the moment is full of play, grief, or confusion doesn't really matter because the whole of it, once complete, can still find balance.

I’m a self-taught abstract watercolor artist living in Santa Cruz, California. I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and started painting at an early age. I’ve been self-employed most of my adult life, always balancing between my career as a self-taught marketing consultant and as a painter.
I am interested in the study of digital connection and consciousness. This informs an approach in my work that seeks to connect the space between my autobiographical perspective and a collective experience.
